Every 5th Thursday of the month the Saint Croix Squadron suspends our normal meeting activities to have a “day off” with some time of team building or social activity. This month we organized a pot luck with the St Paul Squadron at the SodBuster RC park in Lake Elmo MN. The event was organized by 2nd Lt Eric Ekstrand, 2nd Lt Tamera Ekstrand, and 2nd Lt Kimberly Larson.
Members of both squadrons enjoyed hotogs provided by the Saint Croix Squadron and other goodies that member of both squadrons provided. We also took full advantage of the space by plying drones, building and flying rockets. Some member of the Sodbusters RC club were also in attendance with some of their RC planes and helicopters.
Thank you to the President of Sodbusters John Bartholomew and his team for allowing us the use of the space and joining us in our last blue moon of the summer!
