We received some bad news this week: Civil Air Patrol is back to Phase 1 COVID-19 restrictions, meaning we can only have a group of 10 or fewer people per room. Despite this, we will work out a way to continue meeting, whether that be online or in-person with several rooms. We did meet in-person this week using 3 separate rooms so none of them ever exceeded 10 people.
The cadets received a short safety briefing regarding COVID-19, learned about line searches in an Emergency Services(ES) class, and had a team leadership problem(TLP). Cadets learned about the line and wedge formations when searching for a missing person, and the TLP consisted of riddles that all fit together to make a one-word answer: leadership.
