To start off the month of June, St. Croix Squadron met for an Awards Ceremony. Awards Ceremonies only occur a few times every year, so they are always special. To name a few, the awards given out included a Billy Mitchell Award (Lieutenant Menk), Cadet NCO of the year (was Chief Menk), Cadet Officer of the Year Award (Lieutenant Waters), Cadet of the Year Award (Lieutenant Bateman), and CyberPatriot awards. We also had a special change of command. Lieutenant Colonel Ekstrand passed on the Cadet Commander position to Lieutenant Menk. After this Awards Ceremony, we are looking forward to a great year with more awards to come!
