During St. Croix Composite Squadron’s meeting this week, there was Commander’s Call and a class about unmanned aircraft systems. For Commander’s Call, there were 4 promotions for the cadets and Lt. Col. Yost received the T. Keith Riddle Aircrew Member award for doing so much within CAP! CAP is now included in Phase 1 COVID-19 opening, so we can now have small, social-distanced meetings. Sadly, Encampment was canceled, but MLA is still on! The cadets are currently 6 points away from a movie night. After breaking off from Commander’s Call, the cadets were asked what fruit they were and why for future CAP interviews. In the unmanned aircraft systems class, the cadets learned a lot about what UASes are and how they work. Overall, this meeting was a good one.
