01 Oct 2018 Inventory entered into ORMS. Lt Col Paul Prior review.
CAP Vans – Do not use automatic car washes, and know door heights and Van Plus antenna heights. MNWG trend suggests antennas are being damaged.
A Search and Rescue Competition (SARCOMP) for Aircrews and Ground Teams will be held on Saturday, 22 September at Hutchinson Airport. NOTE: MNWG exempted STX from Ground Team and Aircrew participation due to Joint Emergency Services Training at Lake Elmo Park Reserve with Stanton Composite Squadron on same day/date.
28-29 Sep 2018 Squadron Leadership School (SLS) – Student registration will close on 16 Sep 2018.

Need to get to Level 2, want to learn more about the CAP mission, and/or meet other Seniors from around the Wing? If so, you are in luck!
The 130th Squadron is hosting a Squadron Leadership School at Christian Life Academy, 6300 212th St W, Farmington, MN 55024.
The course will start on Friday, 28 Sept (18:00 to 20:00) and finish on Saturday, 29 Sept (08:00 to 17:00).
The cost of the course is $10.00 (due upon sign in) which includes the cost of Sat lunch and refreshments.
Requirements: Level 1 Completion and enrollment in at least one specialty track.

MNWG Goals for Squadrons and MNWG staff:
• 100{a8fc60e7c50ef162980899a54ed01881874bb95295c118c0a055ec12755c580a} Yeager Award Completion. 1Lt Patrick Kookier is facilitating STX training. (Only two STX Members have not yet completed.)
• Increase Membership by 3{a8fc60e7c50ef162980899a54ed01881874bb95295c118c0a055ec12755c580a}. Recruit by reaching out to other aviation groups, e.g. EAA, 99’s. (STX Membership Numbers are fluctuating, but overall goal was met by 26 Aug 2018.)
• Engage in quarterly tours, e.g.
– MSP Snow Plowing Simulator.
– Flying Cloud Airport Wings of the North Museum Tour.
– Northwest Airlines Museum Tour.
– Farmington Air Traffic Control Tour.
– Control Tower Tour.
NOTE: There is up to $200 Air Force Association funding available.
Public Affairs Officer(s) – Please be sure to submit all press release, articles, photographs and newsletters, in any format (electronic or paper) to MNWG PAO, Capt Jim Jagow. We need to get the word out about CAP and STX activities and the word needs to be timely.
CAP Driver Licenses – Lt Col Paul Prior reminded eligible Senior Members to apply for a CAP Driver License.
Aircrew Briefings Schedule – Project Officer, Maj Michael Bordonaro will resume schedule in October.
NOTE: FAA Wings Credit for Aircrew Briefings – Lt Col David Yost reminded Aircrew Briefing presenters to send him a title and a few sentences about the presentation to qualify for FAA Wings Credit.
