To start off the month of March, St. Croix Squadron met for an aerospace class. We started the meeting with Opening Formation, then proceeded back to the classroom to make some styrofoam airplanes. The cadets learned about airplane parts and concepts, then got to make their own airplane out of styrofoam and hot glue. We then held a contest to find out whose plane flew the best, and the winner got some candy. Next, we had Commander’s Call to brief some common safety practices. The meeting concluded with Closing Formation.
