Last Thursday on Feb. 6th, St. Croix Squadron (STX) had two very different promotions. Cadet Airman Basic Brown was first promoted to the rank of Cadet Airman. The next promotion was earned by Cadet First Lieutenant Ekstrand. This cadet has been promoted to the rank of Captain.
After these promotions, Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Britten presented her Chief Speech in front of the Squadron. Completing one of the requirements to promote to the Chief Dead-rank.
The cadets then split off from the seniors and were able to start building model rockets. The cadets of STX are doing this in order to earn their model rocketry badge.
